Donald Trump said Monday he is expected to make a “very big announcement” next week and the former president is anticipated to join his bid for the White House in 2024.
Trump who hasn’t acknowledged the reality of his defeat in 2020 has been hinting for months that he might be willing to get back into the game.
“Not to detract from tomorrow’s very important, even critical election… I’m going to be making a very big announcement on Tuesday, November 15 at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida,” said the President to the crowd of cheers in Ohio on the day before US polls that will decide the direction of Congress.
The campaign trail was the closest that the Republican has come to confirming his decision to run for office, building on his statement earlier this week, saying the candidate “will very, very, very probably do it again.”
